Yonex Astrox 99 Pro

Yonex Astrox 99 Pro – Explosive Power for Serious Attackers

The Yonex Astrox 99 Pro is engineered for intermediate to advanced players who want to bring genuine attacking pressure to every rally. Built around Yonex's Rotational Generator System, the racket's weight is distributed carefully across the grip end, frame top, and joint, allowing for smooth transitions between shots and continuous, back-to-back powerful attacks without losing racket control.

Namd Graphite for Rapid Snapback

At the core of the frame and shaft is Yonex's Namd graphite, a material chosen specifically for its fast flex-and-snapback characteristics. Combined with the Power-Assist Bumper at the top of the frame, which adds targeted weight while reducing air resistance, the Astrox 99 Pro delivers noticeably explosive smash power along with the enhanced racket head speed needed to keep up with fast-paced doubles and singles exchanges alike.

Head-Heavy Balance, Extra-Slim Shaft

A pronounced head-heavy balance point channels extra momentum directly into your swing, resulting in stronger smashes and deeper, more penetrating clears. The extra-slim shaft reduces drag through the air, letting you generate more racket speed for the same swing effort, while the Isometric head shape keeps the sweet spot generous enough to stay forgiving on shots that aren't perfectly centered.

Who This Racket Is For

The Astrox 99 Pro is best suited to attacking players who already have reasonable technique and want a racket that amplifies their power game. Singles players who like to finish points from the backcourt, and doubles players who need quick, forceful transitions at the net, will find this frame particularly rewarding.

Buy Unstrung and Customize

We offer the Astrox 99 Pro unstrung, letting you select the string tension that matches your attacking style. Higher tensions bring out crisper control on smashes, while slightly lower tensions add a touch more shuttle feel for net play.
