Trans Original – Head Heavy, Power 35, Weight 77–84 g

Trans Original Badminton Racket — Head Heavy

The Trans Original is a head-heavy badminton racket designed specifically for players who prioritize power over pure maneuverability. Rated for tensions up to 35 lbs and weighing between 77-84 grams, its weight distribution shifts extra mass toward the racket head, giving committed, full-swing players the momentum they need for deep, driving smashes and powerful clears.

Built with a sturdy graphite-composite frame, the Trans Original balances durability with the stiffness required to efficiently transfer swing energy into shuttle speed. This makes it a strong choice for singles players who like to dominate from the back court, using heavy overhead strokes to pressure opponents and force defensive errors.

While the head-heavy design favours power, the frame's aerodynamic profile still helps minimize drag during swings, keeping the racket reasonably responsive during net exchanges and defensive blocks. Players transitioning from a lighter, more control-oriented racket will notice the extra authority behind their smashes almost immediately, though the head-heavy balance does reward players who have already developed a strong, technically sound swing.

The comfortable, secure grip helps maintain control through powerful strokes, reducing the risk of the racket twisting in hand during off-centre hits. Its durable build is well suited to regular training and competitive club play, standing up to the repeated stress of aggressive smashing sessions.

For intermediate and advancing players who want to add serious weight behind their attacking shots, the Trans Original offers a genuine step up in smashing power. Visit our badminton store to pick up your Trans Original today and start hitting with real authority on every overhead stroke.
